Reederei Baltrum-Linie GmbH operates the only ferry connection to the smallest of the seven East Frisian Islands. It keeps offices at the harbour on Baltrum and in Neßmersiel and handles all passenger and freight traffic to the island, from day visitors to supply deliveries.
The route
Baltrum is served from Neßmersiel alone. The crossing takes about 30 minutes, making it the shortest in the group. Because the island harbour is only reachable when the water is deep enough, the timetable follows the tides: usually two sailings a day, on some days three, with the times shifting continuously.

Fleet
